The Sims 4 team dropped a little surprise on Simmers recently. Yes, pun intended. Tiny Living will be the first expansion of 2020 – and it looks pretty cool.
The team will host a live stream on Friday, 17 January, for a walkthrough of some of the items coming with the Tiny Living expansion pack.
The Sim Gurus will look at the build-buy items, new gameplay features (new venue type, challenge tiers, rewards), the Create-A-Sim content as well as announce the winners of the Tiny Living Contest.
The stream will begin at 21:00 South African time (+2 GMT) and will be live on The Sims Twitch TV Channel.
Some of the key features of the pack have already been revealed. Most notable is “Murphy Beds” – beds that compact and fold into the wall. Many Simmers had hoped that these would ship with Discover University, but as OG gamers know all too well – you can’t always get what you want.
Regardless, some of the gameplay features, like reducing bills and the new lot type, makes the pack good value for money. The official EA description and key features listed in the promotion read as follows:
Think big, build small. Get The Sims™ 4 Tiny Living Stuff Pack to create the tiny, comfy home of your Sims’ dreams, with a never-before-created residential lot type for tiny homes and stylish, space-saving furniture. Tiny Living Stuff Pack release date
The pack will officially drop on PC and Mac on 21 January 2020, and on PlayStation®4 and Xbox One on 4 February 2020. That date will also mark the 20th anniversary of The Sims.
While the live stream will no doubt reveal much more about Tiny Living, if micromanagement (sorry, not sorry), is your thing, here are some screenshots from the official trailer to get you excited.
