Add a bit of realism to The Sims 4 with this cellulite skin overlay

Ever since the first edition of The Sims, part of the games huge appeal has been seeing yourself or a caricature of yourself in the game. Its why the games slogan Play With Life is so apt.

We have come a long way from those early days where players would recreate themselves by using a photo cut out of their faces, awkwardly transposed onto Sims.

Despite this, the game doesnt always offer the exact means to create something more realistic in terms of representation  – it took six years for a much-needed overhaul to The Sims 4 skin tones in Create-a-Sim.

But what the game lacks, modders will add. Whether thats through gameplay or things like body hair, the modding community has always been one of the best parts of The Sims.

While there is far more options to customise the body of Sims in this edition of the game, some things are still missing. Body hair is one of them. Another seemingly minor but noticeable absence in The Sims 4 is cellulite.

Whether this will ever come to The Sims 4 base game, were not sure. If you want to add this to your game, though,  miikocc has made this super simple skin detail to bring some realism to your Sims.

Even if hyper-realistic alpha custom content is not your playing style and you prefer Maxis Match style CC, this cellulite overlay for The Sims 4 will fit right in.

ETM reviewed/tested: Tested in Create-a-Sim and briefly in game. No conflicts in our tests. One thing to note is that the details are quite subtle for Sims in game. But we like it like that. You can make the details more pronounced by ‘layering’ the various placement options.
