Liverpool Epl Prediction

Latest EPL standings as well as fixtures and results are found below the predictions.

The English Premier League pacesetters meet at Anfield on Wednesday night, as reigning champions Liverpool host EPL leaders Tottenham.

Jurgen Klopp’s men trail their visitors on goal difference going into a midweek round of fixtures that could also see Chelsea, Leicester and even Southampton top the table.

Mohamed Salah was Sunday’s saviour, netting a penalty to pinch a point from lowly Fulham.

Klopp’s extensive list had another new entry, with Joel Matip not returning from the dressing room for the second half at Craven Cottage thanks to a back problem.

He joins the likes of Virgil van Dijk, Joe Gomez, Konstantinos Tsimikas, Thiago and James Milner in the treatment room.

Xherdan Shaqiri and Diogo Jota are also injury concerns for a side that could line up with Jordan Henderson as a makeshift centre back.

Spurs were also pegged back last weekend, as Crystal Palace earned a share of the spoils from their London derby.

But it wasn’t enough to see Jose Mourinho’s men, who have lost just once this term so far, knocked off the summit following an eye-catching first half of the season.

Erik Lamela is ruled out for the away side, although star man Gareth Bale could come back into contention for the trip to Merseyside following illness.
